Who Are The Merciful?

Topic: grace, mercy

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Matthew 5:7 (KJV)

Mercy – God DOES NOT give us what we actually deserve

Grace – God GAVE us what we do not deserve

You cannot grieve what you have not seen, you cannot confess what you have not grieved, and you cannot repent of what you have not confessed.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 (NIV)

Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.  “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Luke 6:36-37 (NIV)

What Jesus Does With Confessed Sin

  2. He Carries It
  3. He Cancels It
  4. He Crucifies It
