5 Facts About Grace

  • We’re born dead in our sins – Psalms 51:5
  • Truth of us as sinners – 1 John 1:8-10
  • Dead in our sins – Romans 6:23
  • We were unrighteous with the ability to be justified (made right) – Romans 3:10, 3:20
  • We were saved by God’s grace and made a new creation with purpose! – For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10

Extending Grace Offers Us:

  1. Happiness
  2. Freedom
  3. Humility development
  4. A new perspective

1 Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, 2 to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people. 3 For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy,

hated by others and hating one another. 4 But when the goodness and loving kindness

of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of works done by us in

righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:1-7
