  1. God’s Faithfulness

God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? Numbers 23:19

1 I will sing of the steadfast love of the Lord, forever; with my mouth I will make known your faithfulness to all generations… 4  ‘I will establish your offspring forever, and build your throne for all generations.’”  Psalm 89:1, 4

  1. Our Faithfulness

1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. 3 He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. 4  Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5  You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:1-6

“Father I lean into your faithfulness and steadfast love today as I face my giant.  I believe people will see You are my God as you give me victory over this giant, not from this giant.

I trust in your faithfulness and steadfast love.”

“We trust Him when we know Him, and to know Him is to trust Him.”

III. Our Return to Faithfulness

1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; Psalm 1:1

4  I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. 6  This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. Psalm 34:4,6

3  When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. 4  In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me? Psalm 56:3-4

Three ways to stay on track or get back on track with God’s Faithfulness:

  1. Know God’s character.
  2. Remember all God has done for you.
  3. Hear His voice over others.

Relationships are better with faithfulness built upon knowing God’s character, remembering His past faithfulness, and hearing His voice over others.
