19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

Inspiring love that does whatever it takes to connect people to Jesus, build relationships and transform our cities.

Desolation – A state of complete emptiness or destruction

Resilience – A glimmer of hope in our desolate heart

Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? 1 Corinthians 3:16

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? 1 Corinthians 6:19a

Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62

16 But when Lot hesitated, the men grabbed his hand and the hands of his wife and his two daughters. And they led them safely out of the city, because of the Lord’s compassion for them. 17 As soon as the men had brought them out, one of them said, “Run for your lives! Do not look back, and do not stop anywhere on the plain! Flee to the mountains, or you will be swept away!” Genesis 19:16-17

3 Signs that People are Looking for Paradise Right Now

  1. Materialism
  2. Individualism
  3. Skepticism

30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:30-31

To Renew Our Resilience, Remember:

  • I have promises from God, who is working on our behalf.
  • I am God’s workmanship, created in Christ to do good works (Ephesians 2:10)
  • I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13)
